Her obviously frequent nocturnal trips, in order to gather her booty from my beautiful daughter, have imparted a certain mischievous attitude to this growing young lady.

The Tooth Fairy is a trusted member of the Fairy community.  She just happens to be a little impish.

Her second cousin, however, takes a different approach to acquisition of odontogenic gold... 

And not welcome at any of the Fairy community gatherings.

Indeed.

 I have had absolutely no interaction with this entity in my decades of dentistry.

None.

Note those molars hanging around her neck.

They did not come from a child, residing under a pillow.

She cannot overcome her deepest desire, the acquisition of teeth...

Noting that stringing deciduous teeth together in jewelry construction presents much more of a challenge than those permanent teeth...

...and their lengthy and sumptuous roots...

provides an excuse for grabbing those nice vital molars...

You're right, Martha.  Root resorption by the erupting succedaneous tooth will render these little guys all the more ready for that tongue-wiggling that's sure to follow.

The second cousin to the Tooth Fairy has a penchant for those nice long roots...

As her good second cousin had already absconded with those precious little central incisors, the angered evil entity had to make her visit to this child worthwhile...

No wonder the Fairy community eschews her.

 Must have been near closing, as we had this remarkable playground to ourselves...

I recall those fiery green eyes as he was coaching up his players...

When the camera zoomed in, I couldn't help but think of the Sergeant Major.

My father's counselling sessions were memorable.  

Drill Sergeants get their point across without violence.

Instructive guidance was presented, however, in an effective manner.

Butch Jones' fervor was expressed in those green eyes...

 I picked up the latest copy of Sports Illustrated delivered that day, lying in front of Amy on the front desk.

Amy noted my expression when I saw Butch Jones on the cover...

"Right?..." as Miss Amy flashed a huge grin.

"He is your father's doppelganger...".

I just had not realized how much they favored each other.

And not the first celebrity who elicited a

"Hey, he looks like Daddy..." from me...

This Manly Man was in a Marine uniform...

My father had to do the same for his trainees, especially those who were not Southern boys.

SSG Daw knew these young men were on the threshold of being thrust into carnage they could not imagine.

Was yet another doppelganger of my father.

The very first episode of Gomer Pyle found Sergeant Carter in those beautiful TW's (Khaki TW Tropical Worsted summer uniform).

My immediate thought was the amazing similarity between him and my Staff Sergeant father at Fort Knox.

As I indicated in 'The Second Lady' page, Rick provided Overwatch for his adopted Little Sister.

I will always be thankful for that.

Rick and Geneva provided the spiritual underpinning for their children, my beautiful niece, Jennifer...

 As a father, he has ensured his bright and talented daughter, Scarlette, has also received the underpinning of Christianity.

In fact, Jason accompanies my Great-niece to church.  

Capping this 2025 Easter celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, Jason and Miss Scarlette will be going to church this Sunday.

Miss Scarlette gets it.

  I brought a couple of little stuffed bunnies over to her Grandfather; he in turn gave them to her later that day as an addition to her ever-growing Easter collection.

She named them Joseph and Mary.

Yes, Miss Scarlette truly gets it.

No, Martha, Jason did not contract syphilis.

We were discussing the effect of mixing gene pools, as a consequence of  intercontinental travels of the Old World explorers. 

 Swapping diseases was the common denominator; hence the discussion of a most toxic element as treatment...
